How Give Back Box helps retailers reduce waste and be charitable.

Came across an article about Amazon and Goodwill partnering using the Give Back Box program.

A customer takes their amazon shipping box, fills it with clothes they want to donate, prints out a prepaid shipping label, and sends it to charity.

I like it because its a good example of tying systems together, and behavior change for good.

  1. a fantastic way to reuse materials and keep them from going straight to the landfill.
  2. a way to lower the barrier to “good will” for companies and people alike, by making it so simple.

And, it’s not only for Amazon and Goodwill.
